Please join us for our first in-person event of 2026, "Why We Do What We Do". The Dairyland chapter will be providing a taco buffet lunch.
The Ethics Course, "Why We Do What We Do," takes an interactive approach to discussing the importance of complying with Wisconsin's insurance laws. In this one-hour session, we will examine actual cases of violations by insurance agents, exploring the reasons behind these actions and how they occur. Attendees will have fun while learning practical steps they can implement to reduce the risk of mishandled transactions in their organization.
We'll be joined by Martha Lester. Martha has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, having held various roles throughout her career. She developed and led the Risk Management and Insurance Program at Madison College for 16 years and currently holds the title of Faculty Emeritus. In addition to her program development, Martha has taught numerous insurance courses for associations, insurers, and independently. She holds an MBA with concentrations in Risk Management and Insurance, as well as Human Resources, and possesses multiple industry designations.
